Autumn Films is looking to support a small to medium sized business or charity who have a compelling story and who are based in the Southwest of England. As a business ourselves we appreciate how challenging times have been over the past few years and connecting with audiences is becoming harder and harder. So we want to give something back and offer our storytelling expertise.

How can you Enter?

Simple! All you have to do is tell us your story. Tell us why you do what you do. Tell us what motivates your business or charity to exist. Tell us how your business or charity makes a difference to your local area or society as a whole. When does the competition open, close and the winner announced?

We go live on Monday 16th October 2023 and entries close on the 8th December 2023. The winner will be announced on the 22nd December 2023, the perfect Christmas present.

If we win what next?

When we notify the winner we will arrange to meet up with you in the early part of the new year. We’ll already have a good idea of the story we are going to tell for you. However there is still a lot of work to do. Such as story development, pre production, film production etc etc. You’ll love the whole process and we’ll open your eyes to the power of storytelling and how its accessible to every organisation not just the Hollywood set. In terms of filming, ideally would would like to start filming in either January or February 2024. With a film release date of early Spring 2024.

What are the deliverables?

We will provide for you a 2-3 minute fully produced, story led film. A film that will delve deep into what an amazing business/charity you have. It’ll be a film that you’ll be proud of and will want to share with the world. More of the competitions T&C’s can be found below.

  • Autumn Films Video Production Competition Terms and Conditions
  1. Eligibility:

    • The competition is open to businesses based in Somerset, Dorset, Devon & Cornwall.
    • Entrants must be 18 years or older and have the legal authority to enter on behalf of the business or charity.
  2. Competition Period:

    • Starts 16th Nov 2023, ends 8th Dec 2023. Entries outside this period are ineligible.
  3. Entry Method:

    • By email only story@autumnfilms.co.uk
    • All entries must be submitted in English. The use of video is allowed and openly encouraged.
  4. Prize:

    • Winner receives a 2-3 minute promotional video by Autumn Films worth £5000.
    • No cash or other alternatives available.
  5. Winner Selection:

    • Selected based on the level of your story and will be judged by our panel.
    • Winner notified via email within tw0 weeks of competition end date.
  6. General:

    • Autumn Films may amend the competition or terms without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
    • Changes will be communicated to entrants promptly by Autumn Films.
  7. Data Protection and Publicity:

    • Entrants agree to Autumn Films using their details for competition administration.
    • Winners may be requested to participate in promotional activity. Autumn Films reserves the right to use winners’ names and addresses in any publicity.
  8. Liability:

    • Autumn Films is not liable for damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by entrants, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by Autumn Film’s negligence.
  9. Social Media:

    • Participation implies consent to feature in Autumn Film’s social media channels without compensation.
  10. Governing Law:

    • Governed by England and Wales law, and disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.
