01 / DIRECTIVE VISION

Your organisation is worth more than people understand.

The problem isn't always what your organisation does. It's whether the people who matter understand why it matters.

02 / Perspective

The communication gap

Inside your organisation, the value is obvious. Your people understand the expertise, experience and thinking behind what you do. Outside your organisation, people only know what you show them. When those two versions don't match, a gap appears. Customers hesitate. Candidates choose somewhere else. Investors need more convincing. Stakeholders struggle to see the value. The problem isn't always the business. It's the distance between what you know you're worth and what everyone else understands.

03 / Before the camera

The camera comes later.

Before we discuss cameras, scripts or locations, we need to understand the problem. What isn't happening in the business today that needs to be happening? What happens if nothing changes? Those answers tell us what the story needs to achieve, and whether film is the right answer at all.

04 / NARRATIVE ARCHITECTURE

From complexity to clarity.

Narrative Architecture gives the story structure before production begins.

05 / MANIFESTO

A film should have a job.

We're not interested in making a film simply because someone thinks they need one. We start with the business problem. What's not happening today that needs to happen? Who needs to think, feel or behave differently? And what happens if nothing changes? Sometimes film is the right answer. Sometimes it isn't. Our job is to work that out before you spend money on production.

06 / Qualification

This work starts with a problem worth solving.

Not every business needs a film. And not every communication problem needs one either. Our work starts by understanding what isn’t happening today, why it matters and what happens if nothing changes. Sometimes the answer is film. Sometimes it’s a series of films. Sometimes the problem sits somewhere else entirely. We’d rather identify the right problem than sell you the wrong solution.

The question isn't “Do we need a film?”

It's “What needs to change?”

07 / INQUIRIES

Fair questions. Straight answers.

You should question the investment, the process and whether this approach suits your organisation. Here are three questions worth asking.

Isn't storytelling marketing-speak?

It often is. We're less interested in telling a "brand story" than identifying what your audience needs to understand and why they should care. The story gives that information structure, meaning and relevance.

We agree what the film needs to achieve before production begins. That might mean stronger recruitment, clearer sales conversations, investor confidence, customer understanding or another defined outcome. If we don't know what success looks like, we shouldn't be making the film.

You absolutely might. If you already understand the problem, know the audience, have the narrative and know what needs to change, a good filmmaker might be exactly what you need. We become useful when those answers aren't yet clear.

THE FIRST STEP

Before we talk about a film, let's talk about what needs to change.

Tell us what isn't happening in your organisation today that needs to happen.
